Notification about the initiation of proceedings for repeated examination of the Tomisławice open pit case.

Contents of the report:
In relation to the current reports no. 22/2013 and 4/2014, informing about the proceeding regarding the Ministry of Environment license for the Tomisławice open pit, Zespół Elektrowni “Pątnów-Adamów-Konin” S.A (“Company”) informs that on 12 March 2014 the Company received the information about the initiation by the Ministry of Environment of the proceeding for repeated examination of the case closed with the decision of the Minister of Environment of 17 January 2014. The proceeding was initiated upon an application of one of the parties dissatisfied with the decision of the Minister of Environment of 17 January 2014.
The Company informed with the current report no. 4/2014 about the decision of the Minister of Environment of 17 January 2014 regarding the dismissal of the Minister of Environment to state the invalidity of the license of 6 February 2008, no. 2/2008. The license was granted to PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Konin S.A. for the purpose of brown coal and mineral mining from the Tomisławice deposit.
PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Konin S.A. upholds that there are no prerequisites to state the invalidity of the Minister of Environment’s license of 6 February 2008, no. 2/2008, regarding the Tomisławice open pit. PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Konin S.A. will get acquainted with the documents regarding the initiated proceedings, and in case of obtaining new material information regarding the subject proceedings, the Company will immediately submit such information in the form of a separate current report.
The initiation of the subject proceedings does not invalidate the legal power of the mandatory license of the Minister of Environment and does not halt the field and mining works at the Tomisławice open pit.
