Initiation of the proceedings concerning the licence of the Minister of the Environment concerning Tomisławice open cast mine

Contents of the report:
Zespół Elektrowni "Pątnów-Adamów-Konin" S.A. ("the Company") informs that on 15 July 2013 the Company became aware of initiating the proceedings concerning stating invalidity of the licence of the Minister of Environment of 6 February 2008 no. 2/2008 granted by the Minister of the Environment for PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Konin S.A. ("PAK KWB Konin"). The proceedings were initiated at the request of two individuals.
In the opinion of PAK KWB Konin there are no premises for stating invalidity of the licence of the Minister of Environment of 6 February 2008 no. 2/2008, concerning Tomisławice open cast mine. PAK KWB Konin S.A. will review the documents related to the above case and in the case of obtaining new essential information regarding the concerned proceedings, the Company will immediately communicate such information in the form of a separate current report.
Initiation of the concerned proceedings does not deprive the licence of the Minister of the Environment of its legal force, nor does it inhibit operation and mining works on the Tomisławice open cast mine.
