Information on withdrawal from the contract for the demolition of facilities at Adamów Power Plant

Contents of the report:
In reference to the current report No. 15/2020 of May 6, 2020, Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin SA ("Company") informs about the withdrawal on April 29, 2021 from the contract concluded on May 6, 2020 with MK Explosion Sp. z o.o. ("Contractor"), the subject of which was the demolition of facilities and preparation of the site at Adamów Power Plant for potential new investments ("Agreement").
The basis for submitting a declaration of withdrawal from the Agreement by the Company is improper performance of the Agreement by the Contractor for culpable reasons attributable to the Contractor.
The intention of the Company is still to complete the process of demolition of facilities and preparation of the area in Adamów Power Plant for potential future investments. In the coming weeks, the Company will launch the process of selecting a professional supplier of demolition services, whose task will be to complete the activities carried out at Adamów Power Plant.
