Results of the capacity market auction

Contents of the report:
Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin SA („Company”) informs hereby about the results of the capacity market auction for the deliveries in 2023, carried out on December 21st, 2018 („Auction”) in which the generation assets of ZE PAK SA Group were involved.
The Group contracted a total of 587 MW (Power Obligation, PO). The closing price of the Auction, which ended in the 8th round, is in the range from PLN 189.95 kW/year to PLN 217.06 kW/year. The final closing price of the Auction will be made public by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne SA within three working days.
The generation assets of ZE PAK SA Group participated in the Auction as existing generation units, and power contracts were concluded for one year of deliveries.
Winning in the Auction means that the available power resulting from the PO will remain ready for the delivery of electrical power to the system or for the delivery of a certain power to the system during the period covered by the power contract.
Due to the provisions of Article 39 of the Act of 8th December 2017 on the capacity market, stating that it is the President of ERO who announces the final results of the auction, the above contracted PO for the Group is not final, and power contracts concluded as a result of winning the main auction for 2023 are conditional until this time.
