Personal changes in the bodies of PAK KWB Konin and PAK KWB Adamów
On 18 February 2013, the Supervisory Boards made personnel changes in the bodies of the companies PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego S.A. and PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Adamów S.A.
On 18 February 2013, the meetings of Supervisory Boards of the companies PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego S.A. and PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Adamów S.A. were held.
At the meeting of the Supervisory Board of PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Konin S.A., Mr Sławomir Mazurek was dismissed from the post of the President of the Board - Chief Executive Officer, and was appointed to the position of the Vice President of Manufacturing.
Ms Bożena Kopiecka - a Member of the Management Board - Chief Financial Officer, and Mr Roman Tomaszewski - a Member of the Board - Director of Manufacturing were also dismissed from the Management Board.
At the meeting of the Supervisory Board of PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Konin S.A., Mr. Piotr Rybarski was dismissed from the position of the President of the Board, and, at the same time, was entrusted with the position of the Vice President of Manufacturing. Moreover, Mr Zbigniew Rabęda - Chief Technical Officer, was dismissed from the Board.
Mr Zbigniew Bryja was appointed for the position of the President of the Board - Chief Executive Officer in both coal mines. Mr Zbigniew Bryja, in relation to the new appointments, resigned from the membership in the Boards of the two mines. The Supervisory Boards of both mines also appointed Mr Jarosław Czyż for the position of the Vice President of Development of Management Board, and Mr Leszek Jakubów for the position of the Vice President of the Board for Finance and Restructuring of Management Board.
The Supervisory Board, by making changes to the corporate authorities, and appointing the same people acted according to the need to ensure the proper conduct of the restructuring processes that are necessary to be carried out in the near future.
