ZE PAK S.A. first listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange
Zespół Elektrowni „Pątnów-Adamów-Konin” S.A. debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on October 30, 2012. In early trading the shares of the Company cost PLN 26.20 i.e. as much as the price of the share sales in public offering. The above means that during the first minutes of trading the capitalization of ZE PAK SA amounted to nearly PLN 1.37 billion.
We are pleased that Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin joined a group of listed companies, said Mikołaj Budzanowski, Minister of Treasury. This debut is of special importance to me as it ends the longest privatization process and is the biggest debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange this year. What is more, the presence of ZE PAK on the Warsaw Stock Exchange should increase the interest of stock market investors in promising power sector.
While accepting from Ludwik Soboloweski, President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, a bull statuette, being a symbol of success in trading, and a certificate confirming that ZE PAK SA belongs to a group of listed companies, Katarzyna Muszkat, the President of the ZE PAK Management Board, said: "This is a great honor as there is no better way for the investors to express their trust in the Company, the whole capital group and the Management Board. That is why I would like to ensure all our shareholders that we will not betray the trust shown today and that we will work hard for the good of us all" - added Katarzyna Muszkat.
The President of ZE PAK gave President Ludwik Soboloweski a statuette of Golden Lightning which is a symbol of power industry. Similar statuettes were received by Mikołaj Budzanowski, Minister of Treasury, Zygmunt Solorz, Chairman of ZE PAK SA Supervisory Board and Paweł Tamborski, Deputy Minister of Treasury.
During the ceremony which took place in the Trading Room of the Warsaw Stock Exchange the bell which announces the beginning of trading rang for ZE PAK.
